Performance review phrases – Multitasking skills

Multitasking skills characterize an employee’s ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.

Exceptional/Superior:

  1. Abigail is eager to perform more duties than she is required to do.
  2. Whenever Jack has free time, he uses it to complete additional tasks.
  3. Richard can effectively distribute his time to finish multiple assignments by the deadline.
  4. Michael quickly shifts from one assignment to another to handle unforeseen changes in priorities.
  5. Quentin meets the demands of his boss even when asked to manage several projects at a time.
  6. Michelle focuses on different tasks and finds a way to complete them in an optimum manner.
  7. Wendy is the perfect secretary! She answers the company’s phone all day long while doing paperwork.
  8. Ronald knows how to utilize his resources in the most optimum way. He never misses an opportunity to perform several tasks at once.
  9. Lionel is a great manager and a hard-working programmer at the same time.
  10. Marta has doubled the efficiency of her department thanks to amazing task prioritization skills.

Exceeds Requirements/More than Satisfactory:

  1. Jennifer easily juggles numerous related assignments to use her time more efficiently.
  2. Gwen develops strategies to kill two birds with one stone.
  3. David manages to finish his job in due time even when loaded with extra tasks.
  4. Evan creates clever problem-solving plans to accomplish several goals at once.
  5. Robert uses time-optimization techniques to achieve as many professional goals as he can.
  6. Ellen knows her priorities. She schedules her workday to perform the crucial tasks in the first place.
  7. Valerie is used to working under pressure. She easily performs several tasks at once when needed.
  8. Maria makes the most of her subordinates without making them overwork.
  9. Nathan always stays organized. He keeps all the crucial information about his projects in mind.
  10. Paul utilizes his planning skills to come up with thought-out plans of action and reach many objectives at once.

Meets Expectations/Satisfactory:

  1. Bruce always starts with the most difficult tasks when working on several assignments at once.
  2. Trevor is well aware of his capabilities. When the workload is too high for him, he is not afraid to seek help.
  3. George does not lose a positive attitude when faced with a huge workload. He tries his best to finish them all in time.
  4. Oliver combines similar assignments to work on at once in order to save time and effort.
  5. Sometimes Emma finishes several assignments at once well in advance of the deadline.
  6. Jerry tracks his progress when working at multiple projects at once.
  7. When needed, Harry juggles several simple assignments at the same time.
  8. Samantha does not demonstrate negative feelings towards multi-tasking or when faced with a heavy workload.
  9. Michael prefers to work on crucial assignments at the start of the day.
  10. Cindy does not mind when the team leader asks her to take on additional tasks.

Provisional/Needs Improvement:

  1. When working on several assignments at the same time, Zack becomes stressed and inefficient.
  2. Jerry postpones the hardest assignments to the end of the workday. Sometimes he misses deadlines because of that.
  3. Arthur fails to perform his duties well when assigned with additional tasks.

  2. Maria dreads heavy workloads. She performs terribly when dealing with many tasks at the same time.
  3. George has concentration issues. He often shifts from one assignment to another without any success.
  4. Ronald seems to hate projects that require multitasking. He tries to avoid them by all means.
  5. Frank becomes significantly less productive when assigned to several projects.
  6. Thomas does not take time to review his work when multitasking. He makes many mistakes.
  7. Multitasking impairs Aaron’s analytical skills. He starts to choose poor strategies.
  8. Michelle is not able to rotate her concentration from one assignment to another.
  9. Ronald overestimates his ability to multitask. His productiveness leaves much to be desired.
  10. Janet purposely turns in assignments as late as she can to avoid extra work.

  7. How do you overcome interruptions in the workplace? Do they affect your productivity?
  8. Do you use any concentration techniques to focus on your projects?
  9. What is the biggest number of tasks you had been working on simultaneously?
  10. How hard it is for you to shift from one task to another?
