Performance review phrases – Detail-mindedness

Detail-mindedness is the quality of being accurate and attentive.

Exceptional/Superior:

  1. George has assisted our company to avoid unnecessary costs by detecting serious accounting issues.
  2. Jennifer juggles multiple projects with ease thanks to effective plans and attention to detail.
  3. Clyde is always focused on handling and preventing issues in the workplace.
  4. Michael never misses important details. His paperwork is impeccable all the time.
  5. Peter hates to make mistakes, so he double-checks all the papers to avoid them.
  6. Nothing can confuse Lucy. She does not let a single mistake come through.
  7. Oliver is a detail-oriented person who has not done a single serious mistake since the day he started to work in our company.
  8. Leonard is a patient and determined employee who carefully explores every issue to find its root cause.
  9. The error rate has significantly decreased since Samantha joined the team.
  10. Valerie easily notices errors that other colleagues fail to spot.

Exceeds Requirements/More than Satisfactory:

  1. Whenever Ronald is developing an action plan, he takes every detail of the task into consideration.
  2. Janet remembers even the smallest details of her projects.
  3. Emma carefully proofreads her reports and other paperwork before turning them in.
  4. David is entirely focused on his work during the working hours.
  5. John has successfully minimized the error rate in the department by implementing additional verification and validation procedures.
  6. Harry demonstrates incredible attention to detail in the workplace.
  7. Andrew rechecks works of every new employee to eliminate possible errors.
  8. Marta sets the high standard of accuracy for the entire department.
  9. Rachel is a trustworthy employee who makes mistakes once in a blue moon.
  10. Samantha pays extra attention to the most important aspects of her work.

Meets Expectations/Satisfactory:

  1. Bruce overcomes distractions in the workplace to stay focused on the work.
  2. Sometimes Robert makes minor mistakes but most of the time his work is impeccable.
  3. Oliver does not takes too much tasks at once since he knows his limits and does not want to turn in substandard work.
  4. Linda is willing to improve her attention to details by limiting distractions and using a task list.
  5. Michael easily notices grammatical errors when reviewing reports.
  6. Wendy has been improving her accuracy. She makes significantly fewer mistakes than a year ago.
  7. John is very concentrated and focused when working on hard tasks but he rushes and gets distracted when performing easy tasks.
  8. Trevor does his best to reduce the number of mistakes in the paperwork.
  9. Rebecca fulfills her duties with the minimum number of mistakes.
  10. Aaron proofreads most of his work but small issues slip in on rare occasions.

Provisional/Needs Improvement:

  1. Susan overlooks significant details when working on difficult projects.
  2. Edward is able to produce adequate work but he needs to improve his grammar.
  3. Abigail does a very poor job at proofreading errors. Her reports are filled with inaccuracies.
  4. Rebecca hates micromanagement. She does not put much attention to little details.
  5. Brad is only focused on the major tasks. He misses most of the other details, which negatively affects his work.
  6. Trevor irrelevant nuances in mind but forgets about the most important ones.
  7. Elsa proofreads her reports but fails to notice grammatical mistakes very often.
  8. Harry fails to focus on project that require extra attention.
  9. Sometimes important details just fly right out of Thomas’s head.
  10. Olivia often overlooks requirements of the project.

Unsatisfactory:

  1. Mark misses important aspects of his projects all the time.
  2. Dennis never follows the action plan.
  3. Robert’s grammar leaves much to be desired. He makes myriads of mistakes in the paperwork all the time.
  4. Samantha is a terrible employee. She needs to become more responsible.
  5. Gerald often forgets about crucial details of his projects, which leads to catastrophic problems.
  6. David never proofreads his paperwork. It often contains grammatical errors.
  7. Jennifer is a very inattentive and garrulous person who gets easily distracted from her work.
  8. Trevor’s carelessness has led to a major cost increase. He failed to detect an error in time.
  9. Steve often ignores important aspects of the assigned tasks because of laziness.
  10. Gregory fails to minimize distractions and completely concentrate on his job.

Self Evaluation Questions:

  1. Do you always follow the action plan set by the supervisor?
  2. How many times do you proofread your paperwork before turning it in?
  3. Is it hard for you to distance yourself from distractions?
  4. Do you always take small details into account?
  5. How do you make sure you have not overlooked important details?
  6. Can you determine what details are the most important for your analysis?
  7. Are you able to identify the root cause of a complex issue?
  8. What is your method of minimizing the error rate?
  9. How often do you overlook details? What do you do to become more attentive?
  10. Do you stick to work plans to make sure you have not missed anything?
