Performance review phrases – Quality of work

This is one of the most important requirements for performance appraisal process. However, it is sometimes difficult to evaluate quality of work with suitable words and expressions. Therefore, the following appraisal phrases shall be useful in quality of work evaluating.

Exceptional/Superior:

  6. Harry often forgets to check whether his work complies with the company’s quality standards. He needs to improve his self-discipline.

  8. John doesn’t get the idea of which are key requirements of his job.
  9. We shouldn’t believe too much on John. He may be good, but his work is never as good as it should be.

Unsatisfactory:

  1. Accuracy and quality of work are the main concerns with John.
  2. We cannot rely on John. Hardly can he give us a quality product as expected.
  3. Products made b John contain many errors. They rarely pass any inspection phase.
  4. John is unreliable for a quality product.
  5. John produces many error products. May be we shouldn’t assign this task to him.
  6. John shows lack of focus on his work. that’s the reason why his products are normally error.
  7. Other employees complain about the quality of Gregory’s work. This creates a negative atmosphere in the workplace.
  8. Hayden cannot be trusted with difficult tasks. Her work quality leaves much to be desired.
  9. Under the guidance of Tom, the work quality of the entire team has dropped significantly. He fails to keep subordinates productive.
  10. Samantha demonstrates lack of knowledge of the required production standards. She cannot deliver the desired level of work quality.
