Performance review phrases – Dependability

No employer wants to assign job to an employee who cannot perform it or at least, do it in a positive manner as the employer expects. An “unreliable” person should never be employed, and the employer’s task to identify those is crucial to the efficiency of the workplace. In a sense, you can understand reliability (or dependability) is when you can believe in an employee that he or she will be able to perform the task you assigned to and that they will, at least, follow your instructions well and bring back the result as you expect or beyond.

Exceptional/Superior:

  1. Marta is willing to assist other employees. The entire team relies on her.
  2. Yvonne has remarkable attention to details of every task she is working on.
  3. Jack strives for perfection. He performs every task impeccably.
  4. Oliver is an essential member of the team. He can fulfill even the hardest tasks.
  5. Valerie demonstrates high accountability. She always keeps promises.
  6. Susan maintains a positive attitude throughout the workday. It helps her to deal with any problems.
  7. Frank is a skillful employee who quickly comes up with creative solutions to unexpected problems.
  8. Greg never fails to impress by performing well each day and we depend on him.
  9. April is loyal and trustworthly, so we thinks about her first when we think of “ steadfast ”.
  10. Arnold is not afraid of difficulties. He strives to do his best regardless of circumstances.

Exceeds Requirements/More than Satisfactory:

  1. Jessica respects deadlines and does her best to meet them in any situation.
  2. Wendy is a very reliable employee. She can be trusted with tasks of any difficulty.
  3. George arrives at work well in advance. He adheres to the schedule no matter what.
  4. Rachel does not mind working overtime if it is the only way to complete the task on time.
  5. Whenever a serious problem appears on the horizon, Nathan is ready to fix it.
  6. Holly is a important person to our team because he will finish the task when required.
  7. Ben always finishes the jobs faithfully and performs at or above the things we expect.
  8. Emma has never let down the team. She always manages to accomplish her job in time.
  9. David supports less experienced employees. He has a reputation of a compassionate and caring person.
  10. Nancy shows that she is a positive person when helps and do whatever it takes with willingness.

Meets Expectations/Satisfactory:

  1. Walter is willing to work until the project is finished if the work require overtime.
  2. Abigail has never missed work without prior and proper notification.
  3. Trevor actively demonstrates loyalty and commitment to our company. He fully deserves trust.
  4. Peter is the person we choose to return him to get the tasks accomplished on time if the tasks absolutely must be completed by a given time.
  5. We can believe in Jim.
  6. Ida’s productivity is not as good as her coworkers.
  7. Wendy does not take action without direction from a supervisor. She needs to become more resolute.
  8. Holly is usually reliable in her work, but sometimes she has been unreliable in several cases.
  9. James fails to produce a reliable strategy. He has to improve his analytical skills.
  10. Quentin meets most of the deadlines, but he makes many mistakes. He needs to be more attentive.

Provisional/Needs Improvement:

  1. Ryan is never willing work overtime even if the jobs requires it. He does not agree to work beyond his normally scheduled 40 hours.
  2. Peter’s reliability can be doubted because his work results is not often in harmony and we have to check too frequently.
  3. Kyle seems pleased with leaving the work for others to do, while to finish the project, most of his coworkers are willing to work late.
  4. Nigel leaves work as early as it is possible even when he has unfinished tasks.
  5. Trevor frequently misses deadlines. He has to improve his time-management skills.
  6. Sometimes Rebecca is late for team meetings, which makes other employees very frustrated.
  7. Jennifer is not suited for short-deadline tasks. She becomes nervous and unproductive in stressful situations.
  8. Abigail does not keep her words. She should not be trusted with important tasks.
  9. Ingrid refuses to stay overtime even if this is the only way to meet the deadline.
  10. Peter does not believe in his effort and does not demonstrate a willingness to complete the job.

Unsatisfactory:

  1. We can not depend on Lenny. So if have a task must be be completed, we usually pass him over and find someone else to do the task.
  2. Julia has no willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done, especially in this economy.
  3. Bob is a very loyal guy, but we can not depend on him. He is a irresponsible person.
  4. Francesca never follows instructions or directions. She needs to become more open-minded.
  5. Olivia has missed numerous critical deadlines. She is very undependable and unpredictable.
  6. Henry has a questionable reputation. He is too irresponsible and unfocused.
  7. Cindy fails to take care of customers. She should not be trusted with important clients.
  8. Peter fails to accept accountability for his own behavior. He is too familiar with clients.
  9. It seems that Tom does not care about the company. He is only interested in achieving his personal goals.
  10. Sandra does not meet the company’s punctuality standards. She makes other employees wait for her.

Self Evaluation Questions:

  1. What do you do to meet tight deadlines?
  2. Do you think your supervisor can rely on you?
  3. How many times have you been late for work over the last month?
  4. Do you like to work on complex projects that require extra effort?
  5. Are you always willing to assist coworkers and customers?
  6. Do you have a reputation of a dependable and responsible person?
  7. Will you stay late at work if this is the only way to complete the task on time?

  9. Does your supervisor allow you to work all by yourself?
  10. Have you ever broke the company’s rules?
